Min inspects under-construction hospital
Bhopal: Public Relations and Energy Minister Rajendra Shukla inspected under construction super speciality hospital costing Rs 150 crore at Rewa on Wednesday. Shukla held discussions with the construction agency and directed to complete work within time-limit. The Minister also gave necessary directives regarding construction of approach road from GMH Gate upto main building of the hospital, packing of nullah near the gage and widening of road.
Road to be widened
Bhopal: Road from Banganga to KN Pradhan crossing will be widened. Retaining wall and drains will also be constructed. Higher & Technical Education Minister Umashankar Gupta performed Bhumi Poojan for the work costing Rs 92 lakh here on Wednesday. Gupta said that shanties will be removed only when pucca houses are given to their dwellers. He said that we believe in sharing happiness and sorrow of people. To serve them is our duty. Gupta said that power is being supplied 24X7 in all cities and villages in the state. Wheat and rice are being provided to the poor at Re. one per kg. He said that all people are being given benefits of schemes without any discrimination. local public representatives were also present on the occasion.
ABVHV V-C’s term extended by one year
Bhopal: Chancellor and Governor Ram Naresh Yadav has issued order to extend term of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya's Vice Chancellor Prof Mohanlal Chheepa for one year. As per the order issued in the context of resolution adopted by general council of unniversity, Prof Chheepa will continue to work as VC for next one year from June 30, 2016 or completion of 70 years of age, whichever is earlier. General council had adopted resolution to extend term of Prof Chheepa for one year from June 30, 2016. Jaipur's resident Prof. Mohanlal Chheepa was appointed the first Vice Chancellor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya. His term was ending on June 29.
Minister performs Bhumi Poojan of CC works
Bhopal: Higher and Technical Education Minister Umashankar Gupta performed Bhumi Poojan of CC works and fencing on premises of Bal Bhavan near JP Hospital here on Wednesday. These works will be undertaken at a cost of Rs 10 lakh. Gupta also planted a sapling on the premises. He said that plants should be nurtured properly. Gupta directed to complete sanctioned works within time-limit. local public representatives were present on the occasion.
ensure custom milling of paddy procured
Bhopal: Food and Civil Supplies Department has directed district collectors to ensure completion of custom milling of paddy procured during year 2015-16 by July 31. Earlier, directives were given to complete this work by June 30. Directives in this regard have also been given to State Civil Supplies Corporation and Marketing Federation.

Bhopal: KN Gopinath (80), father of Mandideep Malayaiee Association's secretary and All India Malayalee Association's executive member PA Pradeep, passed away at his residence in Kerala in the evening on Tuesday. His last rites will be performed on June 30, 2016 at 10.30 on the premises of his house in Kerala. Office-bearers of Mandideep Malayalee Association, United Malayalee Association (UMA) and Bhopal Malayalee Association have paid tributes to Pradeep's father, the late Gopinath. The Malayalee Samaj has prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
RMSG group carries out renovation work
Bhopal: RMSG group BHEl has successfully carried out the renovation and maintenance work of unit 9 and 10 of Patratu Thermal Power Station run by Jharkand State Electricity Board. The HT panel, control panel, GRP, STRP and DC system for 110 Megawatt of these two units has been successfully designed and delivered. With the successful commissioning of Unit 10, the ash handling system, AC & Dryer system, Transformer, Bus Duct, HT and lT motor has also been successfully renovated. BHEl RMSG received immense appreciation from customer for the work carried out.
