Sonia, Rahul to campaign for bypolls

Indian National Congress (INC) revealed the name of star campaigners for Godda and Panki bypoll. Revealing the name of the star campaigners which also include Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Vice-President Rahul Gandhi name in the list, the information was provided by congress spokesperson lal Kishorenath Shahdeo on Friday.

RVC to celebrate World veterinary Day

World Veterinary Day 2016 will be celebrated in Ranchi Veterinary College (RVC) Auditorium on April 30. Dr BB Verma, Adjunct Professor, School of Clinical Medicine, Boston, USA will be the chief guest and deliver keynote address on ‘Strategies of control and prevention of bovine mastitis.’

JVM slams holding tax hike

Jharkhand Vikas Morcha criticised the recent increase in holding tax through a press communiqué by Central General Secretary Sunil Sahu on Friday. In the letter, it has been stated that the people of Ranchi are already suffering from lack of basic amenities. In such a situation, increasing taxes without consulting elected representatives is unjustified.

JPCC meeting on Ramnavmi violence

A meeting of minorities’ wing of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee was convened under State head Shakil Akhtar on Friday. The conflicts in Haxaribagh and Bokaro during Ramnavmi festivities were discussed in the meeting. Akhtar demanded action against the officials and political leaders involved in the incidents.

Das Govt most successful: Singh

BJP leader Satyanarayan Singh has termed the BJP-led Government in Jharkhand under Raghubar Das as the most successful one in providing basic amenities to the public. He enumerated the steps taken by far by the State Government to better the living standards in Jharkhand. He applauded the recent decisions taken by Government pertaining to facilities to public.

Admission begins at IIHMR

Admission in Rural Development course at IIHMR has begun. Students will receive degree in MBA, rural management after the successful completion of two years programme. 30 seats have been reserved for the course. Students can get further details from the official site www.iihmr.edu.in.
