SBI opens ATM at Apollo Hospital
Bhubaneswar: An ATM of the SBI was installed in the lobby of the Apollo Hospital here on Monday. Apollo Hospital chief operating officer Dr S Ramesh Babu inaugurated the ATM in the presence of bank officers. With this, the number of SBI ATMs increased to 273 in the city and to 2,389 in the State. The SBI also installed POS terminals in all the counters of the hospital which are being extensively used by patients while settling their dues to the hospital.
OISCA holds induction meeting
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Chapter of the OISCA International, a Japanese NGO, organised an induction meeting under the chairmanship of Chapter president Purnachandra Mishra here on Tuesday. As chief guest, OISCA North India director Rituprasad highlighted the various activities of the NGO. Around 80 representatives from nine districts of the State discussed on topics like plantation, sapling production and ecological balance. They decided to carry out plantation and sapling production activities and awareness drives on ecological balance in 100 educational institutions within a year. amala Nehru College Principal Dr Swapna Pani and IIYD general secretary Bimal Choudhury also spoke.
