Chunabhatti Police nabbed two vehicle-lifters from Kaliyasot trisection on Thursday and recovered 12 two-wheelers worth Rs 2.5 lakh from their possession.
According to the police, acting on a tip off a youth over a scooter was detained and when he was asked regarding the scooter he failed to provide the details of the and later confessed that the scooter was stolen.
The miscreant was identified as Mahesh Tawar alias Nanu (20) and confessed that he had stolen around a dozen scooters with his accomplice Ravikant Ahirwar (19).
The scooters were recovered from parking spaces in MP Nagar and Govindpura.
Mahesh was released in the month of April 2016 and after he was released he again started stealing vehicle. He was nabbed by TT Nagar police and stolen two vehicles were recovered from his possession.
Meanwhile, Khajuri police have nabbed miscreant involved in robbery at Fanda in the year 2015 and recovered two mobile phones and two ATM cards from his possession on Thursday.
Police said that the victim Veerbhan Singh Mewada was attacked with sharp edged weapon and robbed his two ATM cards, one mobile phone and his motor bike by the accused Pramod Kumar.
The accused was friend of the victim and on October 25, 2015 he attacked the victim and escaped with valuables later he was traced in Mumbai.
The accused confessed that the victim and he were friends and after robbing him he escaped city and went to Mumbai. He had withdrawn Rs 53000 from the robbed ATM and left the motorbike at Bhopal railway station.
