The salaries of 13 sachivs of Janpad Panchayat have been stopped with immediate effect on the charge of their negligence in government works. The Sachivs did not submit savings account number, aadhar number, mobile number and photo on pension portal of the beneficiaries.

In this regard, their salary for the month of May has been stopped with the orders of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of district Panchayat Swarochish Somvanshi. Deputy Director of Social Justice Department Patrick Tirky said that for their negligence in submitting the details of the pension beneficiaries, the salaries of the Panchayat sachivs and employment assistants of Obedullahganj Janpad Panchayat and Silwani Janpad Panchayat have been stopped.

Meanwhile, the review meeting of the schemes operated by the Rural Development Department and Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday Campaign was held here on Monday. In the meeting the Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Swarochish Somvanshi reviewed all the schemes.

Under the Swatch Bharat Mission he reviewed the plan, of the spotted 100 Village Panchayats, to prevent open defecation. In the review, work in 36 village Panchayts were fond unsatisfactory. The Secretaries of these Panchayats have been given notices asking for explanation as to why the work has not been completed. The Secretaries also directed to get the construction of toilets completed by June 15, 2016 and free the villages from open defecation. 

Somvanshi also reviewed the progress in work under the Swatch Bharat campaign. He also gave notice to the Chief Executive officer of Sanchi Janpad Shobit Tripathi and Chief Executive Officer of Vadi Janpad Rajendra Yadav asking to explain the delay in the work of toilet construction.

Notices were given to Assistant Engineers as well for the delay in the work. Assistant engineer of Sanchi Janpad Manoj Kumar Batham, Block Coordinator Ranjan Maran and Assistant engineer of Janpad Gairatganj also received notice.
