Through main exam of Public Service Commission, 12 SC and ST candidates have been selected for various administrative posts. Pre-exam coaching centre had coached 35 students for interviews in January under the guidance of subject experts and administrative officers.
Of the selected students, 6 each belong to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. Among scheduled caste students Ankita Khatarkar has been selected as Assistant Director Women and Child Development, Virendra Verma as Project Officer Women and Child Development. Mohini Verma as Block Women's Empowerment Officer, Ishwar Singh Verma as Sub-Inspector Excise, Priyanka Kamal as Inspector Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department and Jitendra Ambulkar has been placed on serial number one of merit list for post of Assistant Jailer.
Similarly, among scheduled tribe candidates, Gita Uikey and Rajesh Sirsam have been selected as Assistant Directors Women and Child Development, Brijesh Singh as Assistant Director land Records, Mandeep Dabar as Block Women's Empowerment Officer, Durgesh Armo as Sub-Inspector Excise and Shashank Armo has been selected as Naib Tahasildar.
