At least 10 persons, including women and children, were injured as a bus in which they were travelling overturned NH-60 near Dharipolo under the Rupsa police station on Saturday afternoon.
They were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital here.
The bus heading got stuck on the road due to a strong storm that ripped the area.
In another incident, several persons of a marriage party were injured after a tent under which they were performing the wedding ceremony in front of a temple at Remuna collapsed due to a storm. Out of them, a woman and her minor child were admitted in the headquarters hospital.
In yet another incident on the day, one Chitta Singh (30) of village Chhanapur under the Industrial Estate PS died when lightning struck her in afternoon.
