A large number of bureaucrats of the Delhi Government went on mass leave on Thursday in protest against the suspension of two DANICS officers, an action declared null and void by the Ministry of Home Affairs, even as the AAP Government called the protest part of a “conspiracy” to “fail” the Odd-Even scheme which is being implemented in the city from January 1. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia launched a frontal attack saying that the DANICS and IAS officers in Delhi had become the ‘full-fledged B teams’ of the BJP. A defiant CM sent out a stern warning to agitating officers saying Government was exploring “all options” against the officers. Kejriwal accused the PMO and
l-G’s office of prompting the babus to go on leave.
