The Swedish Government on Tuesday confirmed its participation at the 8th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in the capacity of a ‘Partner Country’.
With Sweden, Vibrant Gujarat now has a total of 12 partner countries namely-Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Japan, The Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, UAE, UK and USA
Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit to be organised in January 2017, is gearing up to provide its attendees a unique experience by hosting Nobel laureates in two formats–Nobel laureates Exhibition and Nobel laureates Symposium.
The experience is powered by the trilateral MoU signed in Sweden in the month of September between Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, Nobel Media AB and the Government of Gujarat represented by PK Taneja, Additional Chief Secretary (Industries and Mines).
Apart from the two formats, the Nobel laureates will also hold a five-week long exhibition at Science City on how the science underlying the Nobel Prize has impacted lives.
Earlier in the year, Sweden had announced that partnering with India in the Energy Space will be a win-win situation and offered its support to progress with the discussion.
