Army's heroics in PoK praised

The news of the four-hour surgical strikes targeting “launch pads” for terrorists carried out in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Wednesday night was celebrated by residents in the national Capital on Thursday.

Residents praised the heroic act of the Indian Army in their fight against terrorism.

A senior rank Army official told The Pioneer, “I am well impressed by the courage shown by our Army and feel proud. Such operations are must. It is a motivation for our jawans who are deputed and serving at high tensions borders areas. The nation is saluting you, kudos.”

The Common Defense Services (CDS) aspirants in Delhi said the Army is known for its action and under the supervision of army officials, forces nailed the target. “We are extremely happy with the success of the surgical operation,” said Rohit Kanwar, a CDS aspirant.

Another aspirant, Sauransh Shukla said, “The Indian Army is avenging the deaths. We will never let India down. Jai Hind!”

Rohit Chahal, a student, “This is a loud and clear message to not only Pakistan but to China also… this is not 1962 but 2016 and our current Government has taken a tough stand and showed the world that India never acts cowardly like Pakistan.”

Researcher Vinu Sehgal said, “This should have been done long ago, it was overdue. Hats off to Modiji... He has courage and determination to take such a bold step which earlier no Government has taken.”

IT professional Saumya Ashok from Noida said the entire country knows that the Indian Army is the best. “We have always believed that Indian forces are best in the world and they are our pride.”
