The National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (NITR) would hold the Annual Zonal NASA Convention for students of eastern part the country from October 13 to 16.
The mega architectural event would have a panel of jury comprising Chief Architect of Odisha Biswa Ranjan Nayak and Architect DK Parida and a stellar line of speakers like Avin Choudhury and SS Ray. Famous architecture firms such as Yantra, SQUARE and InForm will take part in the convention.
The convention would begin on October 13 with a keynote speech by Karan Grover.
The plethora of events will feature lectures and workshops on subjects such as design, heritage conservation, landscaping and modelling. It would also feature ‘Archumen’, the biggest architectural quiz in India.
There would be cultural events in every evening in which college students of various colleges will perform dance and fashion shows.
Over 1,500 students from 10 eastern States will participate in the events. Sponsorship drive for the event is currently on. Interested companies looking for exposure can visit www.archismat.in, said student convenor Vivek V.
