The final session of Vigilance Awareness Week 2015 concluded today at IFX conference hall BHEl, Bhopal. On this occasion AMV Yugandhar, Executive Director BHEl, Bhopal was present as the Chief Guest while B Maria Kumar, Special Director General of Police (DGP was present as the Guest of honour.
Yugandhar in his address highlighted the role of vigilance in management and emphasised the need of system centric approach than personal one.
B Maria Kumar in his address stressed on the need of being vigilant for better life and governance. He pointed out that vigilance is not the exclusive duty of Vigilance department rather it is the duty of each one to be vigilant. He further said that the role of transparency, accountability and probity are basic feathers of good governance and it would lead to the profitable, efficient and effective organisation. He emphasised on vigilance of self for one’s own improved performance and also of external environment to bring better competitive capabilities.
Earlier, Amit Sharma, AGM Vigilance welcomed the guest. He also briefed about the different activities held during the week.
B Maria Kumar and Yugandhar handed over the prizes to the winners of the competitions held during the week. Sanjay Dhavle, Senior DGM Vigilance proposed the votes of thanks and Pankaj Kumar Jha, Senior Manager, Vigilance coordinated the closing ceremony of Vigilance Awareness Week.
