A national level classical, folk dance and music festival, Vedvyas Sangeet Nrutyotsav 2015, being organised by cultural institution Bhanja Kala Kendra, would begin from November 1 at the Open Air Auditorium of Bhanja Bhavan.
The five-day long carnival would witness performances of various internationally acclaimed artistes from across the country and abroad.
Bhanja Kala Kendra organises the festival every year with an aim to promote and propagate dance and music and also to boost tourism.
The 18th edition of the festival includes Odishi dance by Guru Durga Charan Ranvir and his troupe, Kuchipudi dance by Guru Shreekant and his troupe, folk dance by artistes from Chhattisgarh, Hindustani vocal performance by Dr Meeta Pandit, Odissi Vocal by Dr Rama Hari Das etc.
Union Minister Jual Oram would grace the inaugural day.
