Though the holidays of Christmas and New Year are on in Vinoba Bhave University but work in the university office is going on as usual.
On Sunday some transfers were made in which mostly teachers from colleges were brought to PG departments of headquarter and on Wednesday emergent meetings of examination board and finance committee were organized.
In the meeting of examination board decision was taken to publish the result of Ph.D work course exam. No discussion or decision was taken in this meeting on the issue of absurd writing in the answer books by a student in Part II 2015 exam.
Show cause notices were issued to the erring teachers on 9th of December and since then everyone in university office is silent on this issue. Till date the answers books of Part I exam of that examinee has not been traced nor has any action been taken against the erring teachers and the student.
In the evening meeting of finance committee was organized in which the members discussed and passed 11 agendas of the meeting.
Most of the proposals were put before the members for post facto approval because work is already going on in the university campus.
The main controversy about this meeting was the participation of those members who were members of this committee because of being members of senate of the university.
In last November the university had notified end of their tenure as senate members but they were called in this meeting.
