The three-day India Surf Festival (ISF) would be held at Ramchandi beach between along the Puri-Konark marine drive between February 6 and 8.The festival now in its fourth year is all about showing the worldwide audience its massive potential for board sport activities such as surfing, kite- surfing; stand up paddling (SUP) and long boarding (Skate) A SUP cup competition with $1,000 USD prize money, the yoga on water and yoga on the beach workshops, a long boarding workshop, kite-surfing performances, the hungry lens photography event, art and music performances and a game of SUP ball will also be held. According to ISF founder Sanjay Samantaray, the mission is to make people realise the importance of low-impact water sports. The festival is being supported by State Tourism Department.
