Thieves decamp with valuables from JK Hospital campus

Miscreants decamped with valuables worth Rs1.6 lakh and Rs20,000 cash from JK hospital campus under Kolar police station area on Tuesday. According to the police, the victim Akash Purohit and his family had gone to temple in the morning and when they returned, they found that the locks were found broken and on entering the house, they found that the house was ransacked.

A complaint was lodged with the Kolar police and in the complaint, the victim claimed that he had gone to Bhramkumari temple at around 9 am and when they returned around 2 pm, they found that the valuables were missing. The burglary occurred between a short period of time, which suggests that the miscreants were aware about the whereabouts of the family and the valuables as they targeted the valuables and cash, which were in the house and other things in the house were not disturbed.

The police have registered a case under section 454 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation. Meanwhile, valuables worth Rs1.4 lakh were burgled from Adarsh Nagar under Khajuri police station area on Tuesday. According to the police, Nekram Shrivastava had gone to attend a family function on April 26 and when he returned on Tuesday, he found that the house was ransacked. Victim lodged a complaint and in the complaint, he claimed that gold and silver jewellery worth Rs1.4 lakh were found missing. The police have registered a case under section 457and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
