State to send 1,500 tents, food for Nepal quake victims

Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to send 1,500 tents for relief to Nepal’s earthquake victims. Besides, 10 truckloads of ready to eat material will also be sent. The quantity of material in the trucks will be about 180 tonnes.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced Rs5 crore contribution to Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for relief to quake victims of Nepal and India. Besides, the Chief Minister and members of the State cabinet also decided in its Tuesday meeting to donate their one-month salary for relief to quake victims.
