IG Sanjay Gunjyal said that increasing cases of land forgery involving crores of rupees in various parts of the Range has become a matter of concern for the police department. SIT formed at Range level to solve the cases related to land forgery will hit hard on land mafias.
The history of land mafias involving in land forgery cases should be made part of investigation and those found engaged in land forgery cases should be booked under the draconian Gangster Act, he added.
