The Bonei police rescued a 10-year-old boy, who had been abducted by a woman, from a bus on Monday afternoon. The police are now searching for the woman.One Sunita Sahu of Telisahi under Sundargarh district’s Bonei police station on Monday morning lodged a complaint with the police that her 10-year-old son Ishan Sahu had been abducted by her neighbour lily Das (40) while he was playing on the village road in the morning.
Acting on the complaint, the police checked each bus and at around 4.40 pm, they found Ishal sitting in a bus titled Sarala Bus, which was on its way from Rourkela to Bonei. Police suspect that lily might have left the boy in the bus and fled in fear. “We have rescued the child and will soon nab lily Das,” said Bonei PS SI RK Biswal.
