Chief Secretary Alok Ranjan has issued directions to officials to ensure that examination for selection of Consolidation (Chakbandi) lekhpals onNovember 8 is conducted in a transparent manner.
He said laxity in this regard would not be tolerated and erring officials would be penalised.
Around 28,29,920 candidates are appearing in Chakbandi lekhpal (General Selection) examination.
Chief Secretary issued these directions to all Divisional Commissioners, District Magistrates and Inspector Generals and other senior officials of police through a circular.
He has directed deployment of adequate number of personnel along with appointment of static magistrates at district level for distribution of examination material to examination centres.
Ranjan has said that security, electricity supply and basic resources should be provided at examination centres properly, so that there is no problem in conducting the examination.
To prevent any kind of irregularity or use of unfair means, directions have been issued for continuous monitoring and inspection.
Chakbandi lekhpal examination is being held in 71 districts of the state, including Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Mathura, Allahabad, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Azamgarh, Ballia, Mau, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Kanpur (Nagar), Kanpur (Dehat), Etawah, Auraiya, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Fiazabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Barabanki, Sultanpur, Amethi, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Gautambudh Nagar (Noida), Baghpat, Hapur, Bulanshahr, Varanasi, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Jalaun, lalitpur, lucknow, Hardoi, Rae Bareli, Sitapur, Unnao, Moradabad, Amroha, Rampur, Bijnore, Sambhal, Chitrakoot, Banda, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Gonda, Bahraich, Balrampur, Shrawasti, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Sonebhadra, Aligarh, Hathras, Kasganj, and Etah in one session on November 08, 2015 from 11 AM to 1 PM and in two sessions in 20 districts from above list.
Districts in which examination would be conducted in two sessions, include lucknow, Kanpur (Nagar), Allahabad, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Faizabad, Gorakhpur, Ghaziabad, Etawah, Azamgarh, Agra, Aligarh, Bareilly, Jhansi, Sitapur, Meerut, Moradabad, Gonda, Varanasi and Saharanpur.
