The State Bank of India (SBI) Government Treasury Branch held a function here on Tuesday and sanctioned 111 Mudra (PMMY) loans to borrowers belonging to the lower strata of the society.
The beneficiaries included small traders, vegetable vendors, egg vendors, tailors and barbers. SBI General Manager Pulak Kumar Sinha said the bank is in the forefront to support small businessmen and artisans.
The sanction letters were distributed to the borrowers by the senior officials of the Bank. Among others, SBI CGM Venu Gopala Reddy, GM-II AK Chowdhury, DGM, Bhubaneswar AK Dasgupta and GT Branch AGM Sanjaya Kumar Panda were present.
