'Sarv Dharm Abhiyan unnerved the torch bearers of secularism'

Sunday, 31 May 2015 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

Bharatiya Janata Party – Minority Cell State president Hidayatullah Sheikh has said that it is not difficult to understand the unrest in the ‘secular’ brigade of the country on the completion of one successful year of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Government. “The Sarv Dharm Abhiyan of the Modi Government has disappointed the torch-bearers of the ‘secularism’,” Sheikh said.

Sheikh in a statement here on Saturday said that as soon as Modi assumed office of Prime Minister the secularists announced that series of riots would start and that the Government would not last long. “But the secular brigade lost its nerves by watching the way Modi brought BJP’s popular slogan ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ (Together with all, Development for all) into reality. The more PM Modi was criticised, the more strong he became and his capacity and talent got brighter and brighter,” he added.

He said that the prime minister said from the Red Fort that constitution is his Bible and Geeta and he has proved that. Justice for all and nobody’s appeasement is the policy of Modi Government.  To make minority progressive in educational field provision of increasing the budget of Minority Welfare by one billion rupees for modernisation of Madarsas, besides the Minority Welfare budget was also increased.  The scheme of providing work and developing traditional skills and art and artisan of the minority community was implemented, he added.

He said that the efforts of bringing minorities in the main stream have been fruitful, and this being the reason that the happiness and peace of the secularists has lost and they have started feeling that style of Modi Government’s working is not good for them. But they should note it that with their unwanted bashing good days for them are not going to come, he added.
