The house of a coaching class manager was targeted by miscreants on Sunday and Rs1.5 lakh was burgled from his house in Indrapuri locality under Piplani police station area. The victim Alok Gupta along with his family had gone to market and when he returned at around 5.30 pm, he found that the locks were broken and on entering the house, it was found that the house was ransacked.

All the cupboards of the house were found broken and Rs1.5 lakh cash was found missing. Electronic goods and other valuables were not disturbed by the miscreants in the burglary. The victim runs a coaching class, which is situated with his residence. On Sunday, the coaching class was closed.

Burglary took place within a short period of time and in broad daylight, which suggests that the miscreants were hinted and aware of the whereabouts of the victim and his family. Police claimed that the miscreants were aware that the victim was in possession of cash and had kept in the cupboard.

A complaint was lodged with the Piplani police by the victim and after the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under section 454 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation. The domestic help and those employed by the victim to take care of the coaching class would be questioned in the further investigation told the police.

Victim has raised suspicion that the employees, who used to work earlier for his coaching classes, might have hinted or helped the miscreants in the burglary.
