Raipur team won the inter-regional body building and power lifting competition organised recently by the Chhattisgarh State Power Holding Company limited (CSPHCl) at Rajnandgaon.The winners were felicitated by the Managing Director of CSPHCl Anup Garg.The officials said that member of Raipur team Rajendra Kumar Durugkar won gold medal while MS Sharma won bronze medal in the body building competition.
NK Diwan was adjudged as the best power lifter in the competition.In the power lifting competition Samsun laban won the gold medal, lakhpati Sindur won the silver medal while Rajendra Kumar Durugkar won the bronze medal for Raipur team.At company headquarter Office Secretary of Company's central sports and art council Dr Hemant Sachdeva also congratulated the winners.
Meanwhile the inter-regional vocal, instrumental, music and poetry recital competition will be organised by the company’s central sports and art council on February 3 & 4. The selection of the employees for these events will be held on February 2.The trail of the interested candidates will be held at Officers Club at company’s Dangania premises from 11 am. The candidates will have to bring their instruments for the competition.The selected candidates will represent the company’s headqaurters in inter-regional competition, the officials said.
