Governor and Visitor, Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission Balramji Das Tandon has appointed Prof Shiv Varan Shukla of Sanskrit Research Institute, Raibareli as full-time member of Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission (CPURC), Raipur.
Principal Secretary to Governor Sunil Kujur has issued orders on September 28. This appointment has been done under Section 36 (5) of Chhattisgarh Private University (Establishment and Operation) Act 2005, according to an official press release issued here on Tuesday. It is noteworthy that Prof. Shiv Varan Shukla (D.litt) has experience of 38 years in teaching and that of 30 years in the field of research.
Dr Shukla has rendered his services as member and Chairman of High-Power Committee in various universities under University Grant Commission (UGC). Presently, Dr Shukla is posted as Director General of Sanskrit Research Institute, Raibareli (Uttar Pradesh).
