A day after the Chief Minister ordered a probe into alleged pictures of the Brahma (soul substance) of lord Jagannath going viral in social media, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Puri, has requested the Crime Branch to probe matter.
Writing a letter to Crime Branch ADG BK Shamra, SJTA Chief Administrator Suresh Chandra Mohapatra requested the former to treat the letter as an FIR. Notably, some postings of the alleged Brahma and other secret rituals of Nabakalebar festival in Koilibaikuntha inside temple are doing rounds in media raising many eyebrows.
