Health and Urban Development Minister Amar Agarwal on Wednesday inaugurated and dedicated the pro-stimulus projects worth crores of rupees, including 20 seater public lavatories worth Rs20.87 lakh and Anganwadi centers to Kondagaon district. Agarwal was on a day-long tour of the district under lok Suraaj Abhiyaan in the district.
He was accompanied by State Women Commission Chairperson lata Usendi, Collector Dhananjai Dewangan, Municipal Council Chairman Tarsem Singh Gabel, MlA Mohan Markam, SP Abhishek Meena and other dignitaries. In his address, Agarwal said the State Government has been dedicated for the welfare of the people and it would be always such in the future, he said.
State Women Commission Chairperson lata Usendi said the entire scenario in the district as well as across the State has changed under the rule of the State Government. During the programme, as many as 247 students of Government College were given the tablets while 461 labourers of un-organised sector were given the cheque of Rs15.58 lakh for cycles and sewing machines.
