Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Manpower Planning, Science & Technology and District In-charge Secretary Renu G Pillai along with Collector Reena Babasaheb Kangale inspected the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) located at Chor Bhatti here.
During the visit, the officer duo reviewed the stitching training imparted at the institute and also held discussion with the trainees.
Pillai encouraged the trainees to take benefit of the training. Collector Reena Babadaheb Kangale instructed the ITI management for sapling plantation on the premises.
Earlier, the Principal Secretary inspected the livelihood College and reviewed the operative training programmes there. She also reviewed the training of heavy vehicle driving imparted to Korwa tribal youths.
The Collector discussed with the Principal Secretary about the various training programmes conducted by the livelihood College. Pillai also reviewed the under construction work and gave necessary instructions to the officers concerned.
