Former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Hemanand Biswal has scoffed at news reports predicting that he would quit the party.“I cannot say how this was published in the media as I haven’t given any such a statement. This is imaginary, baseless and mischievous,” Biswal told reporters here on Sunday.
It may be recalled that former leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Bhupinder Singh, former Congress MlA from Brajarajnagar Anup Sai and former Chief Minister Giridhar Gamang had opposed media news in similar situations. But later, Singh and Sai switched over to BJD at different times and Gamang to the BJP very recently. When asked whether he would also follow the same line, Biswal said, “I won’t quit the party which has given me political identity.
