Nine persons including one woman received burn injuries in a blast that occurred at Pandaydih village under Herodih police station at around 9 pm on Saturday .
The deceased has been identified as Kishor Das, Manoj das,Visunu Das, wife of Visunu Das ,santosh Das, Inder Das, and 10 year old son of Inder Das. Out of them them, three reported to be in a serious condition and are recuperating in the Intensive Burn Unit (IBU) of Koderma General Hospital.
Till late in the night, family members of Visunu Das were in side their house at Pandaydih Harijantola village at Herodih. There was sudden release of lPG gas cylinder from their kitchen which caught fire. later ,the local carried out the rescue operation and saved all nine persons of a family . The rest of the family members are also keeping mum about the incident fearing police action and subsequent harassment.
The gas leakage was immediately stopped by pouring water on it and thereby avoiding further damages. Police said that we will investigate into the gas leakage and blast to find out the cause.
