Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal has constituted the new Chhattisgarh Assembly Press Gallery Advisory Committee for year 2015-16.

The Committee members had a courtesy meeting with the Speaker at his official residence ‘Speaker House’ here on Tuesday. 

The names of the new Committee members are—John Rajesh Paul ( Dainik Bhaskar), Shashank Sharma ( Swadesh) , Vikalp Shukla ( Akashwani), Joseph P. John ( The Times of India) , Santosh Chowdhury ( The Pioneer), Sushil Agrawal ( Central Chronicle) , Anil Tiwari ( Nav Bharat),  Bholaram Sinha (Naidunia),  Manoj Vyas ( Haribhoomi), O P Mishra ( Deshbandhu), Raja Das ( The Hitvada), Babulal Sharma ( Amrit Sandesh), Chandrabhushan Mishra ( Daily Chhattisgarh), Ravikant Kaushik ( Prakhar Samachar), Mithilesh Mishra ( Patrika),  Ashish Sharma ( Punjan Kesari), Gopal Vora ( lokmat), Raghvesh Pandey ( Doordharshan), Dhanvendra Jaiswal (IBC24), Praveen Singh ( Sahara Samay), Prakash Hota (ETV), Devesh Tiwari ( Zee News), Jaiprakash Parashar (Bansal News), Sanjay Shekhar ( India News), Sanjeev Gupta ( Bhasha), Sunil Namdev ( Aajtak), Anil Pusadkar, (President, Press Club) and Ashish Tiwari (News Express).

Chhattisgarh Assembly Deputy Speaker Badridhar Dewan would be Chairman of the Committee  . Director (Public Relations), Centre Director (Doordarshan) and Centre Director ( Akashwani) would be appointed members of the Committee .

Principal Secretary of Chhattisgarh Assembly Devendra Verma would be the appointed Member Secretary of the Committee. 

During the meeting held on Tuesday, the Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal informed that the programme for holding three-day training programme for the media persons from Chhattisgarh during the winter session of the Parliament in New Delhi had been endorsed. A maximum of 50 media persons who report on the Chhattisgarh Assembly proceedings would be participating in the training programme, he stated.
