A Naxal wanted in connection with murder of a police constable and several other major crimes, was arrested from insurgency-hit Kondagaon district, police said on Wednesday.
The ultra was nabbed by a contingent of District Police and District Reserve Group (DRG) during an anti-Naxal operation carried out in Mardapal police station, Superintendent of Police Kondagaon, JS Watti informed.
According to police the arrested ultra identified as Sudan Korram who was arrested from his house at Erandarwal village. Korram was also a member of Maoist Janmilita active in Bedma region.
As per police, Korram along with other Naxals had executed an attack on police party on August 20, 2014 at Ehkali village wherein a police constable had died.
Korram was also part of Naxal team that had organised a ‘Jan adalat’ and killed a man Santoram Yadav at Ehkali.
