MMI Narayana Hosp starts health card for elderly

The MMI Narayana Multispecialty Hospital announced the launch of a Health Card for senior citizens on the occasion of World Heart Day on Monday night.

The privilege health card for aged persons was released by State Health Minister Ajay Chandrakar in the presence of Dr Devi Prasad Shetty, Chairman - Narayana Health.

The health card was handed over to the President, Senior Citizen Association, GGK Murti, President – Senior Citizens Club, Raipur.

The privilege health card will enable senior citizens of Chhattisgarh to avail free check-up and consultation with a cardiologist every Saturday at the hospital. The card is valid for one year and will be renewed thereafter. “Our aim is to reach out to more than one lakh senior citizens through this initiative said Vineet Saini, Facility Director, MMI Narayana Multispecialty Hospital. “The cards can also be collected by anyone above the age of 60 by showing their identity card for age proof at the hospital”, he added.
