Call it mismanagement within the Congress party. The Press conference called by the Congress general secretary Anand Singh Rawat had a timing clash with the Press conference called by the Mahila Congress chief Sarita Arya.The PCC e-mails invitations for Press conferences held by any of its office bearers but since the PCC general secretary had apparently not informed the party about his plan, the two Press conferences caused clash in timing for the media persons.
A PCC office bearer said that Anand Singh Rawat calling a Press conference without keeping the PCC in the loop had caused some confusion. “We will request the PCC chief Kishore Upadhyay to issue guidelines so that further press conferences by party office bearers are held with the knowledge of the party organisation to prevent any confusion and maintain discipline in the party,” said a PCC office bearer.
