Miscreants damage 40 vehicles

In yet another incident of damaging of vehicles, some unidentified miscreants damaged windowpanes of about 40 vehicles in three colonies of Khajrana locality. The incident came to light when people woke up on Monday morning saw window panes of their cars broken. The incident not only agitated the locality people, but also exposed chinks in police patrolling in the locality.

According to Khajrana police, unidentified miscreants on early Monday morning stoned cars and jeeps in the locality and damaged it with bats. Hearing the noise of broken glass, people came out of their houses and tried to search the miscreants, but they had made their escape good.

On the basis of complaint, police have registered case against unidentified miscreants and have launched manhunt to nab them on the basis of CCTV footage of the locality. This was the second incident of similar nature in the city within a span of few days. Some days back in a similar incident, unidentified miscreants had damaged 10 cars and other vehicles parked outside houses in Vijay Nagar area.
