Min inaugurates 'Child Helpline' Booth

Women and Child Welfare Development Minister, Ramsheela Sahu on Monday inaugurated ‘Child Helpline’ Booth at the Raipur Railway Station’s Platform Number One. The booth will keep track of the missing children.

On the occasion, Sahu said that the Women and Child Welfare Department and the Police Department will work together to trace the missing children and provide them with security.The main aim is to curb child trafficking, child migration, tracing the missing children and helping the children in distress.

Raipur MlA Srichand Sundrani , Chairperson of State Child Rights Protection Commission Shatabdi Subodh Pandey, Women and Child Development Department  Secretary Dinesh Srivastava, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Raipur Rajiv Saxsena , Additional Divisional Railway Manager Vivek Khare and other officers employees were present at the meeting.
