Mayor Alok Sharma here on Sunday along with Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials inspected the ongoing development works, including the preparations for World Hindi Conference.
Notably, the World Hindi Conference is to be held in Bhopal this year for which BMC is carrying out various preparations. Here on Sunday Mayor inspected the ongoing development works and also inspected the preparations being made for the D-day.
Mayor visited areas from Raja Bhoj Airport to old Vidhan Sabha. During his visit he gave necessary instructions to the officials concerned. He asked the officials to carry out a qualitative work and finish the given works within time. He asked then to maintain cleanliness across the city and also beautify the streets and footpaths.
He then further instructed the officials to repair the damaged roads as soon as possible.
During the visit BMC Commissioner Tejaswi S Naik, Mayor in council members Krishna Mohan Soni, Mahesh Makwana, Dinesh Yadav, Shankar Makoria, Manoj Choubey, BMC Additional Commissioner Sanjay Kumar and MP Singh along with BMC Officials were present.
Mayor along with BMC officials visited areas including Raja Bhoj Airport, Asaram Tiraha, State Hengar Tiraha, lal Ghati, VIP Road, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma square, Rait Ghaat, Kamla Park, MlB College, Polytechnic Square, Raj Bhavan, old Vidhan Sabha and nearby areas.
While his visit to Raja Bhoj airport, Mayor instructed the officials to establish beautiful parks at Government lands located there. He also asked the officials to immediately remove bills and sticker from the boundary walls and paint them new.
Mayor instructed the officials to beautify VIP road, Van Vihar road and other public places within the given time. Also he asked the officials to maintain cleanliness at all the public areas and remove encroachments if any. He also asked to repair the road and kiosks and facilitate kiosks with proper drinking water.
With the implementation of the instructions given by Mayor, proper arrangements have been done for the visitors for World Hindi Conference to be held in Bhopal.
