Committed to development of Bhopal with an objective of making it a clean and green city with high standards, Mayor Alok Sharma cleaned the premises of Sahyadri premises and nearby areas located at Bhadbhada road. He also collected garbage and transported it to the local dumping ground with the help of wheelbarrows and cleaned the drains. At the site, Sharma requested the citizens to keep their houses and surroundings clean. He asked the citizens to look forward for maintaining personal hygiene themselves without any dependence.
Hearing the grievances of the residents of Sahyadri colony and the nearby areas, the Mayor also ordered of repairing the water tank leakage, arrangement of a 300 litre tank and to estimate the cost in construction of sewage line along with public support. He also asked the officials to prepare a plan for laying a 3 inch pipeline in order to meet the rising demands of sufficient water supply in the locality and to prepare a dumping ground at the place requested by the citizens.
The mayor also directed the officials of constructing a septic tank, repair the places where Narmada water pipelines were laid. He also directed the officials to illuminate the Sahyadri colony with lED lights/ vapor lamps. Besides, Chairman of the municipal corporation Surjeet Singh Chouhan also cleaned the areas in his ward no; 51. He cleaned the roads and extracted garbage from drains.
