Mauritius Ki Swarnim Smritiyan’ a book written by lok Sabha MP and BJP leader Ramesh Pokhariyal ‘ Nishank’ was released by Prime Minister of Mauritius Anirudh Jagannath in a glittering ceremony organised at Gurgaon in Haryana on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion the Mauritian PM praised the efforts of Nishank for engaging in service of literature consistently despite leading an active public life. He said that Nishank’s literature focuses on incessant struggle of human civilization, patriotism and person standing on last strata of society. Jagannath said the book was written by Nishank during his recent visit of that country and narrates the struggle and bravery of the people of Mauritius. Terming the book as souvenir of Indo- Mauritian friendship, Jagannath said that the book would become very popular in Mauritius. He extended an invitation to Nishank to visit the country once more and said that his government is working on special plan to strengthen Hindi in Mauritius. Speaking on the occasion the governor of Haryana Kaptan Singh Solanki termed the book as a document on Indo- Mauritius relations.
The programe was organised by National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activists and India Mauritius Trade Culture and Friendship Forum.
