School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra on Wednesday informed that the results of the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations would be announced by the end of first week of May.
The HSC examination was conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE). “Rechecking of the results is in final stage. It is being done for error free results. Hence, results will be declared by the end of May first week,” Mishra told reporters here.
A total of 5,93,652 students, including regular, ex-regular new and old Madhyama (Sanskrit toll) had appeared in the examinations this year. Out of them 2,610 candidates were booked for malpractice.
