Prof Mansingh Parmar has been appointed the new Vice-Chancellor of Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Mass Communication, Raipur. Chancellor and Governor Balramji Dass Tandon made the appointment on late Wednesday evening. Principal Secretary to Governor Sunil Kujur released the orders from Rajbhavan Secretariat. The appointment have been made under the Section 11(1) of Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Avam Jansanchar Vishwavidyala Act.
Notably, Prof Parmar is currently Head of Department, Journalism and Mass Communication of Devi Ahilya University, Indore. He has a long experience of working as Editor/Assistant Editor in various newspaper and magazines. He has worked as Chairman of the Board of Studies, Journalism and Mass Communication School of Studies and law Department, Devi Ahilya University Indore. Prof Parmar has also worked as Member of the Board of Studies of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication, Bhopal.
