In a bid to register their presence strongly in the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls, the left parties will come together as one. The contestants and division of seats will be finalised by September 7, informed CPI (M) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sitaram Yechury on Sunday.
“For the Bihar Assembly elections, we are working forward on the three agendas: eradicate BJP and communalism, shield the people of Bihar from the evils of caste-based politics and promote CPI (M) in Bihar Assembly for the betterment of common man,” Yechury said.
Targeting Modi next, he said, “All the foreign visits of our Prime Minister have been fruitless by far; not one achievement to show for numerous trips. Price hikes have badly affected the public. Here, in Jharkhand, onion is being sold at Rs 80 whereas in Delhi, government is supplying the same onion at the price of Rs 30.”
