The last date for online submission of the application forms for availing the scholarship schemes by the eligible students of the class 9th standard to 12th standard has been extended from August 31, 2015 to September 30, 2015.

However, with the State Govt making the scholarship schemes for class 9th standard to 12th standard online from this academic session, the eligible students  have been advised to apply online to avail the scholar schemes through the website: http://esclarship.uk.gov.in.

So the principals of different schools have been advised to accept the scholarship  application  forms from the eligible candidates online only in time, said the officials concerned of the district social welfare department, Bageshwar. The decision of giving extension to the last date of submission of the scholarship application forms online by the eligible candidates has been taken following the direction of the directorate of the social welfare department, Haldwani, further said the officials concerned.

All the eligible students studying in 9th standard to 12th standard  may also go through the website: http://esclarship.uk.gov.in to get further information about the scholar schemes, informed the officials concerned.

The basic objective of making the scholar schemes online is to maintain greater degree of transparency and is to reach out to maxim number of eligible candidates under the scholarship schemes, maintained the officials concerned. In case of any difficulty in completing the scholarship online formalities, the  officials concerned or the applicants  may take up the matter with the officials concerned of the  social welfare department.

At  the same time, the eligible candidates are supposed to complete all the formalities on time to avail the scholarship scheme, added the officials concerned.
