labour cases and family matter cases both pre-litigation and litigated would be dealt in the coming third National lok Adalat on April 11. Principal district and sessions judge (PDJ) cum chairman of the Palamu district legal services authority KK Srivastava has said that the coming lok adalat is set to pay rich dividends to the parties seeking legal relief in these two issues the labour cases and the family matter. The PDJ said "this national lok adalat is to be family centric wherein pre-litigation matter can be easily brought in for a settlement. There are numerous family matter cases like parents being neglected and overlooked by children and such cases are our priority".
The PDJ was assisted by the secretary DlSA Uttam Anand. The PDJ asked the secretary Uttam Anand to convene a second meeting with the labour officials on April 9. The PDJ said he had convened a meeting with the district welfare officer, principal ITI college, Inspector of factories labour superintendent this March 27 wherein the PDJ said he had asked the officials to extend all co operation. The PDJ reiterated that the inspector of factories was asked to bring case where compensation to labourer who got injured or became disabled or maimed for life but continues to languish for compensation to be given to him in this national lok adalat.
The PDJ agreed to a suggestion that in this national lok adalat scheduled on April 11 the concerned labour officials be directed to prepare a list of labourers migrating from here to other places. Srivastava asked Uttam to ensure this to be told to labour officials to which Uttam Anand said the labour officials have assured to look into this issue. About underpayment of wages and payment of wages done late the national lok adalat is to take up this matter in right earnest added Srivastava. The PDJ added further that national lok adalat has geared up the executive side also. He made a passing reference to a disabled whose cause and case was taken up by the Palamu D6lSA and now this disabled is a happy lot.
