The World Heart Day was observed at the Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) and the Pradyumna Bal Memorial Hospital (PBMH) here on Tuesday.
On this occasion, an awareness rally participated by students, faculty members and KIMS staffs was taken out from the Patia Big Bazar Square and to the KIMS.
KIMS principal Dr SB Ogale, Director Dr BC Das, Panchanan Parida, Dr Panchanan Sahoo, Dr Banbihari Mishra, Dr Anupam Jena, Dr Ashok Badamali, Dr Nimai Chandra Parida and DGM SK Satapathy participated in the awareness rally under the theme ‘Heart Healthy Environment’.
A free heart check up camp was also organised in the PBMH premises. KIMS CEO Dr RN Samanta inaugurated the camp.
