A two-and-a-half-year old boy died after he fell from the bungalow of a former minister at Rivera town under Kamla Nagar police station area on Friday. According to the police, the deceased Arjun Ahirwar fell from bungalow no 21 at Rivera town while playing, he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment late on Friday night.
Police were informed and on the receipt of the information police team reached the spot and after preliminary investigation sent the body for the post-mortem. The family of the deceased arrived in the city around four days ago and used to work as labour. The family hails from Gadarwara and as they did not have any arrangements of stay, they were provided shelter at the bungalow.
The incident occurred at around 9.30 pm when the boy’s parents were having dinner and incidentally the deceased reached the edge of the roof and fell down. later during the treatment Arjun succumbed to injuries at 11 pm. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile a 26-year-old man died who was hit by a speeding vehicle near Zam Zam marriage hall under Jehangirabad police station area on Friday. According to the police Asif Khan was hit by a speeding vehicle and was rushed to Hamidia hospital where he died during treatment. After preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 304 A of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the unidentified errant driver.
