Chief Minister Raman Singh on Sunday flagged off a Marathon run as a campaign to keep Raipur city clean at the Telibandha Marine Drive here.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that keeping the colonies clean in the city is the social and moral responsibility of the citizens.
He said that for realising the dream of a Clean India, we will have to create a ‘Clean Chhattisgarh’.
The Chief Minister stated that the citizens need to pay maximum effort in keeping the city clean till the target of making Raipur a ‘Smart City’ is fulfilled.
Raipur City Mayor Pradmod Dubey said that cleanliness would be the first identity of Raipur as a ‘Smart City’.
