Union Minister of Steel and Mines Narendra Singh Tomar on Monday said that one year is a very short period for a nation and assessing development in such a short span is injustice.
Tomar was expressing these views while addressing a ‘Yuva Samvad’ programme organised by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in Indore.
The Central Government schemes are facilitated by the States and it takes time to produce the outcomes.
The BJP Government under the leadership of Narendra Modi has increased the goodwill of India in the world. Indian market has attracted foreign investments and the growth rate has touched the mark of 7 per cent. In years to come, the growth rate will touch the mark of 10 per cent, he added.
Tomar further said that BJP is a party of labourers, farmers and youths and thus youth should strongly oppose the negative propaganda against the land Acquisition amendment bill.
The youth should assure farmers that a party dedicated to farmers can never introduce an anti-farmer bill. The amendment bill will empower the farmers and benefit the agriculture.
State President of BJYM, Amardeep Mourya said that BJYM worked extensively for the victory of the BJP in lok Sabha, assembly and local elections.
At the same time it has also played the role of flag bearer in social and economic revolutions.
With the help of Yuva Samvad programmes, the BJYM has taken the initiative to inform people about the public welfare schemes of the government among the youths.
In the programme, District President of BJP, Kailash Sharma, District Vice-president of BJP, Ajay Pratap Singh, Mayor, Malini Gour, Usha Thakur, Ramesh Mendola, Sudarshan Gupta, Manoj Patel, Shankar lalwani, Rajeev Yadav, Sumeet Mishra, Manish Chouksey, Bharat Parekh, Bhanu Bhadouriya and Milan Bhargava were present along with other office-bearers of the party.
