A 12-member delegation headed by Sambalpur BJD lok Sabha member Nagendra Pradhan and senior BJP leader Suresh Pujari on Wednesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and urged him to set up the proposed IIM Odisha in Sambalpur. The delegation also met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Human Resources Minister Smriti Irani. “We appealed to the Prime Minister to consider our genuine demand. He assured us of necessary action,” said Pradhan. Pujari told reporters that Sambalpur would be the appropriate place for setting up of the proposed premier management institute.
