Haryana Government will bring out a White Paper on its financial condition before the presentation of Budget for next financial year 2015-16. “The State Government has no objection in bringing out a White Paper on the State’s finances and will publish it before the Budget Session of Haryana Assembly,” said Haryana Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu while talking to the mediapersons on Friday.
Responding on the issue of missing pages from file of Robert Vadra-DlF deal and request of IAS Ashok Khemka to file FIR in this case, Capt Abhimanyu said, “An enquiry is already going on into the matter and the report is yet to come.” Two crucial pages of controversial Robert Vadra-DlF deal had went missing from the State Government records. The State Government had also ordered a probe into reports of missing files of land deals between DlF and Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra.
On the issue of Satluj-Yamuna link (SYl) Canal, the Minister said, “We had already approached the Centre for the issue and the Government is making efforts so that Haryana gets its share of water soon.” The State Government is likely to soon file a suit in the Supreme Court to declare the Punjab Termination of Agreements Act passed by the Punjab Assembly null and void. On July 12, 2004, the Punjab Assembly had passed the Punjab Termination of Agreements Act, 2004, annulling all inter-state agreements signed by Punjab on sharing Ravi and Beas waters.
Talking about the upcoming industrial policy, the Minister said that talks are going on with the stakeholders and the industrial policy would be finalised at the earliest. In the meantime, the Government would continue announcing major policy decisions required for the improvement of industrial sector, he added. He further said, “The Government is also reviewing the previous excise policy and process has begun to examine the patterns of revenue collection and other things.” “The State Government would bring various new schemes in the Budget for next financial year and the process is going on,” he added.
